Washington Hospital Workers Strike for Healthcare

More than 500 hospital workers from Providence St. Peter Hospital and Providence SoundHomeCare and Hospice in Olympia, Washington, are on strike, denouncing five-state healthcare corporation Providence Health and Services for cutting healthcare contributions for its employees while taking in taxpayer money. The changes to the healthcare plan, which took effect January 1st, replace a more traditional plane with
